Auto-fill on import
Enable in settings. Every new upload lands with draft metadata already generated. You review in bulk. Publishing stays fast without skipping metadata.
Batch — across your existing library
Filter your library to files with missing alt text. Select all. Run batch AI. Mediapapa generates for all of them in the background. Review and apply in bulk edit mode.
What AI generates — and what it does not replace
AI reads image composition, visible text, colours and context. It is good at producing accurate, descriptive alt text and workable titles. It does not know your brand voice, your product taxonomy, or your campaign strategy. The output is a first draft — faster than starting from scratch, not a substitute for editorial judgement.
Reviewing is built into the workflow. You see the suggestion before it is applied. Edit for brand and accuracy, then confirm. AI removes the blank page problem. It does not remove the need to check.
How credits work
AI runs on a credit system. One credit = one field (title, alt text or caption) per file. Generating all three fields for one image costs 3 credits. Batch processing 100 images for alt text only costs 100 credits. Credits do not expire within your active licence year and are shared across all your sites on the same licence.

Common questions
AI analyses image content universally. Output language depends on your Mediapapa settings. Non-English sites can use suggestions as a starting point and edit for language and tone.
Edit it or regenerate. You always review before confirming. AI never applies metadata without your approval.
Yes. Filter your library to files with missing alt text — this includes already-published images. Batch generate, review, apply. The metadata updates on the file, which means it applies everywhere the file is used.
AI features pause. No other Mediapapa features are affected. Buy a new pack from the pricing page and generation resumes.
Images are sent to the Mediapapa API for analysis. The Mediapapa API runs on dedicated servers. Images are not stored after processing.
