We launched Mediapapa because we believed enterprise WordPress teams needed a better way to manage growing compliance requirements.
That problem remains real. But Mediapapa has not reached the level of adoption required for us to continue investing in it as a standalone product.
We have therefore decided to stop active product development and move Mediapapa into maintenance mode from 1 September 2026 through 31 August 2029.
For the next three years:
- We will continue to provide security updates and fix significant bugs.
- We will maintain compatibility with supported versions of WordPress and PHP, as well as the hosting environments we currently support.
- Your existing support channel, contacts and response commitments will remain unchanged.
- There will be no new product roadmap or proactive feature development. Specific evolutions may still be considered on a case-by-case basis when driven by a customer need.
We want to be transparent about this decision now rather than gradually reduce our investment without giving you a clear horizon.
That is also why we chose a three-year maintenance period. We want to give every team using Mediapapa enough time to plan ahead without being forced into a rushed decision.
If Mediapapa is on a critical path for your organisation, please talk to us early. We will work with you to understand your needs and help you plan the next steps.
A final word of thanks to everyone who trusted Mediapapa and chose to use it. We are proud of what we built, even if the product did not find the market we expected.
We take the commitment we made to you seriously. That does not change with this decision, and we will continue to support Mediapapa through 31 August 2029.
